The eServer xSeries Models 226 comes standard with Chipkill or Non-Chipkill memory. The system does not support mixing Chipkill and Non-Chipkill. Systems with single module configurations must either remove the module before upgrading with Kingston memory or purchase an additional single module from IBM (512MB Module p/n: 73P4206 or 39M5858). The system supports only ONE kit of the KTM2865/4G or KTM2865/8G, which MUST be installed in the first bank. The only supported 16GB configuration would be: (1) KTM2865/8G + (2) KTM2865SR/4G. |
